It all began with a man, a woman, and a bottle of scotch. Harry Leonardi and successful tattoo artist from Columbus, Ohio was spending time with his girlfriend at a local biker bar when a very beautiful young college student who was originally from Sandusky, Ohio named Silvia Delvecchio walked into the place with a group of her friends. They were looking to get a real experience from the locals. She was in her first semester of college. Her home life back in Sandusky was a bit sheltered. She grew up in a nearly gated community where she was handed everything and hadn’t worked a day in her life. Harry dropped out of high school in his senior year to work for his mother who was an alcoholic and a single mother of four children. His father was in prison and since he was the eldest he took care of his mothers children until he did a four year stint in prison for an accidental death of a friend of his during a bar fight. After getting out of prison he did an apprenticeship at a tattoo shop. When he finished up and proved himself worthy the owner who he worked under gave him the shop before retiring to Florida.

Silvia and Harry began as friends; he took her under his wing and showed her and her friends around town. The two of them began having long talks that turned to hours on the phone not saying a word and eventually lead to an affair. Harry broke up with his girlfriend and quickly married Silvia. The two of them welcomed into the world a son Harry Jr in December of 1984 and another son named Justin in November of 1986. The couple was done with having children and had discussed which one of them would get fixed. But after a night of celebrating their anniversary with a bottle of scotch they found out that they were once again expecting. On October 11th, 1988 the couple welcomed into the world their last child, for real this time; and only daughter Olivia Nicole Leonardi. Olivia was named after her paternal great grandmother Olivia and her mother’s best friend from high school whom had passed away in a car accident when they were sixteen, Nicole.

Growing up in a loud Italian household was interesting for Olivia, being the only girl she was treated differently by her brothers but never by her father. Out of the Leonardi children Olivia was the one that was closest to her father. She was taught how to work on cars and was always the first to volunteer to help her dad out. She was always the one that was excited for spring to come around so she could ride on her dad’s motorcycle. She even had her own little leather jacket and helmet. So it was no surprise to Harry when his daughter wanted to follow in his footsteps and learn the family business. When Olivia was in high school she worked at her father’s shop cleaning up the place and setting appointments. Over time she learned what she had to from her father and eventually became his apprentice. She learned a lot about the businesses. While working at the shop and during high school she paid her own way through Business College at Franklin University in Columbus where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business in 2008, having most of her credits over with by the time she was truly college aged via a program that allowed high school students to enter into college as well.

Promptly after graduating Franklin, Olivia and her boyfriend at the time moved to San Francisco where they opened a tattoo shop of their own. The shop became very popular and ended up being featured in several magazines and even on a few television shows highlighting awesome ink. Her face became well known as the face of the business. This infuriated her boyfriend and co-owner because he was extremely jealous of the attention that she was getting and the flirtation she gave to others. He didn’t understand that the flirtation was what helped with their business getting off the ground. Flattery was the way to their customers’ hearts and it was a great way to bond with the customers and makes them want to keep coming back for their work. This ultimately led to the end of their relationship. They parted ways in mid 2009. He immediately began dating one of their co-workers and she was positive it was going on before they split.

Throwing herself even more into her work Olivia agreed to a tattoo tour promoting the business, showing off her work and getting to know others in the business where they can share tips and tricks as well as swap horror stories. Her choice to do so was the best and worst decision that she had ever made. During this tour she bonded with a man named Anthony. The two of them first met when they were paired together for a group exercise. The first words she ever uttered to him were “Those are the ugliest earlobes I have ever seen. If thats a testament of your work, I dont want to work with you.” Over time the two of them began talking and getting to know each other and the found they had a lot more in common than just their profession. The bonded over being from the Midwest and their love for food. Olivia still hated his earlobes but when she saw him with his hat off she didnt even say a word, she just laughed at his hair and asked him what weed whacker he got into a fight with.

Eventually the two of them became so close that they were inseparable and as most people that become that close, the two of them began seeing each other. Even when he would profess his love for her and she turned him away and then she would profess her love for him and then he would turn her away, they still tried to make it work; even after the tour had ended they would make time to meet up. There had been an eight hour drive distance between them but that was just a small price to pay for the feelings they had for each other. In early 2011 the two of them found out that they were going to be parents. This threw Olivia off her game, she never thought of herself as mother and certainly not under the circumstances they were in. Their push and pull became worse and she would push him away feeling as if he felt obligated now to be in her life. The two of them came together for their daughter whom they named Aria Danielle Peterson; named after Arya Stark and his mother Danielle - she had been born on October 31st of 2011. Though they werent technically together anymore he was by her side.

For four years of Arias life Olivia and Anthony shuffled her between two different households and two different states. They did their best to raise their daughter and when they were apart from her the absent parent would facetime with the little girl. They spent holidays together as a family unit. But Four years had become too much time to spend so far apart. Olivia had been planning on moving to Nevada to be closer to her baby daddy so little Aria could be around her father more. With her entering into school age she felt that it may be too much moving around with a school schedule to worry about as well. After discussing her plans with Anthony he suggested that the two of them look for a place together in another state. Kind of like a fresh start for all three of them. Olivia eventually suggested the idea of moving to Washington in the Seattle area, her eldest brother Harry lived there with his wife and kids and she thought it would be nice to have a relative close by as well.

After Anthony approved she decided to sell her half of the tattoo shop to her ex boyfriend and business partner and start fresh. She recruited her brother Harry to do some house hunting for the young family. He would show her photos; go on the tours and facetime her with details while looking at homes. The young family took a trip up there over a weekend to view the top three prospects and fell in love with one of the homes her brother had picked. It was perfect for the three of them and they plopped down the money and set out on a journey to start fresh for not only their little girl but them as well. The move had gone by smoothly and her brother had volunteered to not only help with the move but to help out financially while they were getting things settled. He completely understood the reasoning behind the move and approved of everything that the move represented.

The young, budding family now having lived in the city for about a year and are now settled in properly. With the money that Olivia had from the sale of the business decided to rent a store front and has opened up a Comic Book and Collectibles shop. Anthony secured a job while actively looking for a place for him to continue on the tattooing path. Their young daughter is now attending a preschool where she has made several friends and regularly attends play dates. Since moving to California Anthony and Olivia got married on July 20th, 2014 and welcomed into the world their second child, a son whom they named xavier anthony peterson. he was born on march 30, 2015. their small family is close and tight knit but they love having cook outs and hosting parties for their friends and family.
